Aspiring Minds: Tell us something about yourself and your career goals.

Shubha: My name is Shubha Parashar. I have completed B.Tech in CSE from SRMS Bareilly (U.P). I want to establish myself as a Software Engineer and contribute to the technological advancement in IT industry.

Aspiring Minds: What difficulties did you face while searching for a job and how did you overcame those difficulties?

Shubha: This is a well known fact that there is a wide gap between the company seeking talent and the job seekers. Due to the missing channel link, either a graduate go for the consultancy or join BPO/KPO despite having engineering degree. Only few get a chance to go through Campus placements or pool campus drive recruitments. I took the AMCAT test to get better job calls. AMCAT also helped me to test my current employability. I was able to know my weak areas.

Aspiring Minds: Tell us about your experience post giving the AMCAT test and how AMCAT helped you in getting the job at Aricent?

Shubha: As AMCAT gives a very detailed report according to candidate’s performance, it gives one a clear idea to understand one's weak points as well as strong points. So, after taking AMCAT test I was able to focus on my weak points.

Aspiring Minds: Would you suggest other job seekers to take AMCAT? If yes, why

Shubha: Of course!!! AMCAT helps you to know your current employability. You can know where you stand among the thousands of job seekers.

Aspiring Minds: Would you like to share some tips which can help other job seekers in getting a good job?

Shubha: Just keep your concepts clear and have faith in yourself and god. Never lose hope.
