Aspiring Minds: Tell us something about yourself and your career goals.

Aakash: I am happy go lucky kind of person. I like travelling, learning new stuff, and reading. As my career goal, I just want to keep learning and keep working on new challenging technologies.

Aspiring Minds: What difficulties did you face while searching for a job and how did you overcame those difficulties?

Aakash: I had an active back log at the time of our college placement season and thus wasn't allowed to attend that. So instead I focused on enhancing my coding skills which later helped me a lot in my interviews. 

Aspiring Minds: Tell us about your experience post giving the AMCAT test and how AMCAT helped you in getting the job at Snapdeal.com?

Aakash: I received a number of opportunities through AMCAT and Snapdeal was one of them. I'm thankful to AMCAT for the same and for providing such a good platform to the candidates.

Aspiring Minds: Would you suggest other job seekers to take AMCAT? If yes, why

Aakash: Yes absolutely. One should appear for AMCAT as it opens gates for a number of good job opportunities. I suggest you to give your best shot at AMCAT because the companies shortlist candidates based on their AMCAT scores.

Aspiring Minds: Would you like to share some tips which can help other job seekers in getting a good job?

Aakash: Focus on enhancing your technical skill set, it’s not necessary to learn multiple technologies but make sure you hold a good grasp over at least one technology of your interest. In my personal experience, grades hold good only to make you applicable for a job but your technical skill set will give you a job.
