Aspiring Minds: Tell us something about yourself and your career goals.

Ria: My name is Ria Grover. I am from Hisar, Haryana. I have done my B.Tech from NC College of Engineering Israna, Panipat. My career goal is to be a successful programmer in a reputed MNC like the one I got selected in.

Aspiring Minds: What difficulties did you face while searching for a job and how did you overcame those difficulties?

Ria: Due to severe recession in recent months, the number of companies that came for recruitment in my college were limited and I didn't got a job on-campus. I tried few off-campuses but the number of students appearing was so large that I didn't even got chance to perform well. Finally my cousin guided me to appear in AMCAT as he also got his first job through AMCAT only. So I prepared for the test and appeared in it and today I am placed in a reputed MNC like Cognizant Technology Solution only because of AMCAT.

Aspiring Minds: Tell us about your experience post giving the AMCAT test and how AMCAT helped you in getting the job at Cognizant Technology Solutions?

Ria: Aspiring Minds’ approach towards candidates is very good. I got my result feedback within 2 weeks and the feedback was very detailed. I realized many positive and negative points about my performance. Also the pdf files provided by AMCAT regarding interview preparation and resume building helped me very much in preparing myself for the interview. I got an email from AMCAT that Cognizant Technology Solutions has shortlisted me for a very good post and after giving interview I got selected for that post. 

Aspiring Minds: Would you suggest other job seekers to take AMCAT? If yes, why

Ria: I have already suggested many of my friends to take AMCAT test. AMCAT test is a very reliable way of getting a good job in a good company and I am myself a good example of it. So I will suggest every person in search of a good job about AMCAT test so that they can get placed too. Guided by me one of my friends has already appeared in AMCAT test and another one has her exam this week only.

Aspiring Minds: Would you like to share some tips which can help other job seekers in getting a good job?

Ria: Confidence and positive approach is a must if you want a good job. One should always try to explore themselves and be prepared for the interviews and tests.
