AMCAT is an adaptive test. What does it mean?

  1. AMCAT (Aspiring Minds Computer Adaptive Test) is an adaptive test which gets harder and easier based on the answer given to the previous question.
  2. If you answer a question correctly, you get a tougher question and if your answer is incorrect the next question becomes easier.
  3. This allows the test to measure the true ability of the test taker in the competency being tested.
  4. The score of the candidate depends on the level of questions that he/she attempts correctly.
