The data entry tests consist of theoretical test and practical tests that evaluate a candidate's understanding of roles and responsibilities for the job and his/her capability of performing the same.
The theoretical part of the test checks whether the candidate is able to obtain required information for data entry from clients, prioritize service requests and escalate them if required, understands standard data entry procedures, is able to handle errors encountered during data entry, is able to handle storage and backup of files as required etc.
The practical part of the test requires candidate to transcribe selected data into a computer and scan source documents in accordance with specific program instructions. It also checks whether the candidate can compares transcribed data, as displayed on a visual screen, with the source document and correct errors
These two modules when used in conjunction with Aspiring Minds English test and Typing test, can be used effectively to select high performing individuals for the data entry profile.
