AM Establishes Quality Norms For Graduates

Aspiring Minds has started assessing graduates on its flagship assessment, AMCAT, across the length and breadth of the country. AMCAT is multi-dimensional assessment instrument that assesses a candidate on his Cognitive skills, Domain knowledge and personality. Based on the scores of the candidate Aspiring Minds has identified  the quality of talent available across colleges across India, which has helped in establishing quality norms of graduates across India. These norms are based on close to 40,000 graduates assessed.

A detailed feedback report is shared with candidate which helps him identify his areas of strengths and weaknesses as well understand his job suitability across different sectors and profiles. The feedback report provides valuable insights to candidates on multiple skills, see their strengths and weaknesses vis-à-vis talent pool available in India and hence their job suitability for different industries/sectors.

According to the last poll results in which more than 650 people participated, 40% of them believe that the most challenging aspect of a job search is the 'Interview Preparation'. 'Preparation for the Group Discussions' (27%) & 'Resume & Cover Letter writing' (22%) received significant number of votes. While 11% believe that the most challenging aspect of a job search is 'Learning how to network effectively'.
