Results of HR Analytics Challenge Declared

Aspiring Minds' HR Analytics Challenge isa competition for management students across the world. A first of its kind, the competition poses problems faced in talent acquisition in emerging markets, which include talent availability mismatches, information asymmetry and geographical constraints. The competition was judged by an esteemed panel of judges that includes Mr Elango R, Chief Human Resources Officer, Mphasis; Mr N.S.Parthasarthy, Co-founder, COO & President, Mindtree Limited; Mr Piyush Mehta, Senior Vice President, Genpact and Mr Srikantan Moorthy, Senior Vice President and Group Head, Infosys. Prof Tarun Khanna (Harvard Business School, USA) had graciously agreed to be the judges' moderator.

Around 475 teams across the globe had registered for the HR Analytics Challenge including teams from top B-Schools like IIM A,B,C, L,I, K ; FMS, XLRI, SP Jain, MDI etc. The competition also attracted participation from global B Schools like Harvard, Kennedy School, University of Pennsylvania – over 40 teams. The first prize was awarded to MDI, Gurgaon followed by SCMHRD Pune, Harvard Business School and IIM Ahmedabad. Total prize money was over 1.5 Lakhs. Last Poll Result
According to the last poll results, the main source of preparation for the placement tests is the job portals/websites which received 45% of the total votes. 36% of the poll participants voted that they refer to the placement related resources/books available in the market. 18% of the participants say they browse through the sample papers of various companies available online. Only 8% of the total poll participants take help from the college seniors who have been already placed.
